Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or embracing the challenge of the Reformer, our classes provide a complete workout experience. Strengthen, tone, and enhance flexibility while cultivating mindfulness and body awareness in every session.

PILATES (REFORMER & MAT)

This is an exercise system that is focused on building strength without bulk, improving flexibility and agility, and helping to prevent injury. It was developed in the 1920s by Joseph H. Pilates, who was a physical trainer and founder of The New York Pilates Studio®. It involves a series of controlled movements that engage both your body and mind.

Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates remains a cutting-edge fitness technique utilizing a Reformer machine for strength, flexibility, and body awareness. It employs controlled movements and spring resistance to engage muscles, focusing on core stability and alignment for personalized, full-body workouts.

Mat Pilates

A low-impact exercise method performed on a mat, focusing on core strength, flexibility, and body alignment. Through a series of controlled movements, it improves posture, muscle tone, and overall body awareness, making it accessible to all fitness levels.


Class Information

Pilates is a body-conditioning exercise. It helps to reshape you body by strengthening deep core postural muscles, bringing it into correct alignment and improving your posture.Pilates is the perfect balance for strength, flexibility and relieving tension.  It is also great for the mind-body connection as it teaches you to become aware and control the body and is even a great tool for relaxation.

Our aim is to empower individuals with increased body awareness, through gentle but effective progressive  pilates exercises that promote core endurance (stability, mobility, flexibility). Each Class wil include: recap of Benefits and Principles Pilates, followed by active participation in class, alignment, breathing, centering, warm up exercises, mat based exercises, short relaxation.

Pilates is suitable for individuals new to exercise as it is low impact and involves slow, controlled, flowing movements. A great method for pre and post-natal women wishing to remain in shape.  Also an ideal exercise for those athletes wishing to improve strength, mobility, flexibility and avoid injury.From ‘Absolute beginners’ (Post natal, post operative, remedial) – To ‘Intermediate’ level

Classes are a maximum of 12, ensuring close supervision and support.  All classes are designed for clients of all abilities from the absolute beginner to the advanced individual.  Smaller groups can be arranged. All equipment supplied.
